Kick-Ass (2010)

2010 Kick-Ass Movie Film Cinema Theatrical Poster ArtIf you want to have heaps of fun watching a superhero action comedy, then Kick-Ass is the ticket!

I’m not into superheroes at all, apart from the original Superman trilogy. But this film is a hilarious and cheeky take on the genre which will have you smiling and laughing from beginning to end.

Kick-Ass is a real treat. It is one of the best comedies I’ve seen for a long time. There’s nothing weak about this material. There are some superb one-liners.

All the actors deliver perfectly for their roles. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is great as Kick-Ass. And watch out for the amazing Chloë Grace Moretz as a little 14 year old and a highly entertaining Nicholas Cage as her dad.

    Reblogged this on xtg120.

  5. It’s funny and very graphic. Chloë Grace Moretz is borderline between cute and psychotic…but I dig!

  6. Yes! I remember this movie! It was funny!

  7. Love it – can’t wait for the sequel! This actually one of the few films where I don’t find Nicholas Cage annoying!!

  8. Agree! Fun and silly. Dorky teenagers and costumes. It’s should be a standard Hollywood recipe.

  9. i am looking forward to watch this

  10. I love this movie! Lol, it’s so fun and over the top. I can’t wait to see the next one. :)

  15. Amarok

By the way, what a good blog you have, Shimky!

  16. This is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time, just because of the realism that is found in the over-the-top action. My Entertainment News Website: http://www.vlizz.com

  17. you talk about smiling and laughing from beginning to end… but me and my sis cried alot during this film tho. Its not all funny…

  18. Love this movie! It is notting like the regular super hero movies :) !
Must watch this one again soon.

  19. I thought this movie was done well and very entertaining. Also if you liked this movie you will enjoy Super. It’s along the same concept but a little bit more dark humor. It’s currently on Netflix.

  20. Mediapunk

Thoroughly enjoyable and one of the few movies that kept me glued to my seat. Chloe Moretz and Nicholas Cage steal the show, while the self deprecating humor keeps it real, although the jet pack bit was slightly disappointing, but a minor gripe in an otherwise great movie.

  21. Name (required)

FYI Chloe and her character Hit Girl are/were supposed to be 11 years old in Kick Ass, not 14. Hit Girl is supposed to be 14 in KA2, but Chloe was already 16 by the time they made it.
