Set during the American Civil War, Sergio Leone’s spaghetti western is a masterpiece of entertainment. The film’s scope is huge with a storyline that never gets dull. The score by Ennio Morricone a classic.
Clint Eastwood is ultra-cool, Lee Van Cleef suave and mean, Eli Wallach simply brilliant.
Here is one of the best and most fun pieces of cinematic history ever created. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly was voted by Quentin Tarantino as the best directed film of all time.

It’s a bit long (ok, I haven’t seen it since I was a single digit kid), but it is worth it for the grittiness, the humour and the finale. Still a landmark western which raised the bar quite considerably and hasn’t aged at all.
