Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels star in this cult classic slapstick comedy which will have you crying with laughter for 107 minutes or turning off after 5; it’s a question of taste. The humour is ridiculous and often crude, the story ridiculous, the acting ridiculously fun.
Fours years prior to their even greater-grossing There’s Something About Mary, writer/directors Peter and Bobby Farrelly hit the big time with Dumb and Dumber.
If you love Jim Carrey playing high energetic, slapstick performances, such as in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, you will love this one. If you have never seen him, you owe it to yourself to give him a shot. He has been described as one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood.
Make sure you watch the original version of Dumb and Dumber, not the Unrated Version or the Director’s Cut, which are both inferior.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the 2014 sequel to this movie – Dumb and Dumber To – which will again star Carrey and Daniels, and be directed by the Farrelly brothers. Filming began in September 2012.

love it
Waiting for sequel, there is something about 80s and 90s movie which is missing today.
It’s full of surprises, but unfortunately I’m not really into this type of humour. Too disgusting sometimes..
One of my favourite movies ever. Normally don’t like this kind of humour, but they just do it so well! Thanks for reminding me – just thinking about certain scenes makes me smile.

i love this movie
ugh.
This is sooo classic! I love it.
I love this movie! Jim and Jeff play their characters so well, I can’t wait for the sequel.
What happened to your parakeet?!!
His head fell off.
Better than 99% of what Hollywood churns out. Few people have more one liners memorized than from this movie.
Now I’m going to go hang by the bar and put out the vibe…
